THIS IBDENTURE, }lade this /9 r..f day of February, in the year
of our Lord one thousa.nd nine hundred and twenty-seven, between
GRA.NV ILLE A. KING, a single man, of Bozeman, Gallatin County, State
of Montana, pa.rty of the first part, and THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, a
Munioipal Corporation, in Gallatin County, State of Montana, the

to him in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged, and in consideration of the benefits which
will accrue to the party of the first part by the establishment of a
Public Street embracing the lands hereinafter conveyed, does by these
presents grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part, and to its successors and assigns, all of the
following desoribed real property, situated in the City of Bozemah,
County of Gallatin, State of Montana, to-wit:

South Spring Avenue, South Amusey Avenue, South Weia Avenue
and East Olive Street, all in Granite Addition to the City of

Beginning at a point in the east line of the west half of
said Block Nine (9), said point being two hundred three
and eight-tenths (203.8) feet south of the northeast
corner of said west half of Blook Nine (9 h thence north
along said east line thirty-two and five-tenths (32.5)
feet; thenoe north 6'10 19' west to the east line of Block
Five (5), Granite Addition to the City of Bozeman,

said east line thirty-two and five-tenths (32.5) feet to
the point of beginning; containing one and twenty-seven
hundredths (1.2'1) acres, more or less; excepting there-
from any streets or alleys within said description not
officially vaoated by the City of Bozeman.

ALSO: A strip of land one hundred (lOO) feet in width, in
Block Seventeen (17), Northern Pacific Addition to the City
of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of said Block

corner of said Block Seventeen Cl't); thence south
67. 19' K. to a point in the ea.st line of said Block
Seventeen (1'1), s,aid point being sixty-seven and two-
tenths (67.2) feet south of the north-east corner of

line of said Blook Seventeen (17( one hundred eight
and four-tenths (108.4) feet; thence north 670 19' W.
to the west boundary line of the tract of land in said
Blook Seventeen (17) owned by Granville A. King, the
same being the east boundary line of the tract of land
in Bal)d Block Seventeen (17) owned by the Bozeman
Country Club; thence north 300 4' Vi. along said boundary
line to the point of beginning; containing three-tenths

party of the second part, and to its sucoessors and assigns forever.
And the said party of the first part, and his heirs do hereby oovenant,
that they will forever warrant and defend their right, title and

possession thereof, unto the said party of the seoond part, its
successors and .waigna, against the acts and deeds of the said
party of the first part, and all and every person and persons whom-

The above described real estate is oonveyed by the party of
the first part to the pa,rty of the second part, to be used by the party
of the seaond part, its suacessors and assigns, for a Public Street
and High-way.
