Subject: Traffic detour
Hi Chris- I just wanted to reach out one more time and say that the traffic situation over here in Baxter Meadows
continues to be terrible. I just tried to cross the street with my 2 children and saw a truck coming very fast. I gave
him the slow down sign. He proceeded to speed up and give me the middle finger.
I have reached out to the police a few times. They are very friendly and kind however they are short staffed and I
was told they do not currently have a traffic cop. So basically we are left to defend ourselves out here. I believe
traffic is driving even faster I am sure due to the frustration of the length of this detour.
I am sure there is nothing that can be done and that you have much bigger fish to fry but this situation is really
upsetting. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Kim Kusak
