Please take into consideration the people who will be affected the most by this project, the neighborhood residents. What was once a quiet unassuming neighborhood will become a congestion point for both people and vehicles. Right now there isn't a problem with either, but with not enough parking for all of the units and the businesses that will be located on the bottom floor of the project, a congestion point will be created. 2. Not enough parking. I can envision difficulties between neighborhood residents and project residents over parking. Not enough parking for project residents and they will park down the street in front of people's homes. Not a good neighbor, creating tension and bad blood between project residents and residential folks. 3.The majority of Bozemanites do not favor this project, and since the commissioners have been elected to represent the people, it is your job to vote for the people of Bozeman!! If you do not, you will have lost the respect and confidence of your constituents, and subsequently do not belong in office!!! In addition, if this project is approved, the city of Bozeman will be setting up unfavorable precedence for the next project similar to this one!!! 4. The project footprint overwhelms the site footprint which is a quarter of an acre. The proposed project is enormous, a monolith, too big for the site!!! The neighbors are not opposed to the site being developed, but within reason. This building is beyond reason. 5. Fifty six units is not the solution to Bozeman's housing problem, nor will it stem the sprawl issue. That is an issue of economicsl, personal income!!! Infill equals gentrification. Downtown will and does accomodate people of a higher economic bracket. Those are the folks who will be buying up downtown properties. The areas to the west, the sprawl, are going to serve people of a lesser income bracket, therefore sprawl will not be eliminated. 6. When asked about unit pricing, Mr. Holloran could not give a direct answer, he said whatever the market will bear!! Given the fact that a vacant lot on the south side of Bozeman went for $375,00, and the condominiums adjacent to the Wilson school started at 1,000,000, the starting prices will not be within range of the average Bozemanite!!! Please vote against this project. It does not belong in this location!!! Thank you, City Of Bozeman This is an automated message generated by the Vision Content Management Systemâ„¢.
