Commission Members:
I, Robert Monaco and I,John Haverluk, property owners of 1988 Marias Lane Bozeman, MT 59718 wish
to lodge a legal and proper protest in regards to the zoning changes of the 3221 Baxter Lane property in
Bozeman, MT.
As co-owners of 1988 Marias Lane,we received a letter from Bozeman Planning because we are within
150 feet of said property at 3221 Baxter Lane, Bozeman MT.
Our protest begins with protesting the small amount of nearby property owners who received such
notice.So much of this growing neighborhood will be impacted but few of us have the opportunity to
protest these huge changes.Since this is a growing neighborhood many future residents will also not
have any input into this change. Most of the residential lots are owned by investors and builders at this
time which means no homeowners are able to protest this change.
Our concerns are as follows:
• No 24 hour business
• No high traffic business such as a gas station/convenient store
• No business that creates light pollution
• No business that significantly impacts views of many homes, no building more than 2 stories tall
• No business that would bring significant amounts of automobile, motorcycle,camper,etc.traffic
into the neighborhood
