Petrik - 4149 Clydesdale Court CUP for Cooperative HousingFrom:Zach Petrik To:Agenda Subject:CUP for Kirby"s and Radoslovich"s Date:Friday, October 13, 2017 9:21:53 AM Hi there, My name is Zach Petrik. I am a resident of Bozeman. I have been in Bozeman for the last fouryears after attending the United States Air Force Academy. I am a project manager in the community for the Business Garage. It has come to my attention that the Kirby family and Radoslovich family are looking to get aConditional Use Permit for a Cooperative Household. I wanted to write and speak to the character of both families. I have known Matt Kirby since I first arrived here in Bozeman and there is no one with a biggerheart for people than him. His job as director of CRU at MSU has him on campus daily and with students daily. Ask anyone who knows Matt personally and you will not find an ounce of criticismwhen they share with you their thoughts on him. The same goes for his wife MeeHee who also joins him in his work and has an incredible heart. They are parents of 3 incredibly well behavedchildren. My fiancee and I have both said we hope to one day raise our children like the Kirby family. The Radoslovich family is new here to Bozeman, but they knew my fiancee personally when sheattended school at Eastern Washington University. They have a heart for others and are responsible and respectable citizens. They also have three children who are extremely well-behaved. They are excellent parents and contributed to their past community by hosting neighborhood BBQ's and movie nights for the children in the area. The house that they are applying to live in together will be used for nothing more than a place tohelp further the community as a whole. Both old homes were places of safety and warmth. They hope to continue to be hospital to their neighbors and seek ways to build community with theirneighbors. Not only will this housing situation benefit more members of the community, but it will also cut down on emissions and reduce traffic through carpooling. Without a doubt, bothfamilies will uphold an immaculate standard of upkeep with the house. Both families spend their lives on the MSU campus investing in college students and making MSU a better place. By allowing them to do life together further by living together, there will only begreater benefits to the community and the city as a whole. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.
