ORDI NANCE NO. 1315
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIG-
NATION FROM AN "AS" (AGRICUL TURAL SUBURBAN) TO AN
"RS-1" ( RESIDENTIAL--SUBURBAN COUNTRY ESTATES, ONE-
ACRE MINIMUM) DISTRICT ON PROPERTY IDENTIFIED AS BEING
APPROX I MA TEL Y 79,2095 ACRES OF CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY
NO. 606, LOCATED IN SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE
5 EAST, MONTANA PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, GALLATIN COUNTY,
MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map change has been properly submitted,
reviewed and advertised in accordance with the procedures of Title 18 of the
Bozeman Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City-County Planning Board held a public hearing on July
3, 1990, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for
a zone map change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on July 16, 1990,
to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone
map change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve
zone change criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M.C.A" and found the
proposed zone map change to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map
change would bring the zoning of the property into compl iance with the
Bozeman Area Master Plan and would be in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI NED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana:
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property
shall be and is hereby changed from an "A-S" (Agricultural Suburban) District
to an "RS-1" (Residential--Suburban Country Estates, One-Acre Minimum) Dis-
trict:
A tract of land being a portion of Certificate of Survey No, 606,
located in Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 5 East, Montana
Principal Meridian, Gallatin County, Montana, said tract of land
being 79.2095 acres,
