REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission
FROM: Brian Krueger, Development Review Manager Martin Matsen, Director of Community Development SUBJECT: Continuation of the Appeal of the Administrative Project Decision 17365
for the Links Condominiums Application 16374 from October 16, 2017 to November 13, 2017. AGENDA DATE: October 16, 2017 ITEM TYPE: Action (Quasi Judicial)
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Commission continue the review to November 13, 2017. RECOMMENDED MOTION: “I hereby continue the review of Appeal of the Administrative Project Decision 17365 from October 16, 2017 to November 13, 2017.” BACKGROUND: The City Commission heard the Appeal of the Administrative Project Decision 17365 for the Links Condominiums Application 16374 on August 28, 2017. The City Commission
reviewed the appeal and began deliberations. Following deliberations and a successful motion that directed staff to develop an amended decision for the site plan, the City Commission continued the review to the October 16, 2017 meeting. The appeal continuation was re-noticed by posting on site and mailing to adjoining property owners. The City’s Legal Department received notice from the appellant Bridger Center, LLC and the Links property owner Golf Course Partners, Inc. that they
are in negotiations regarding a solution to the access issue described in the appeal. They requested additional time to resolve the issue prior to a City Commission decision on the appeal. The November 13, 2017 Commission meeting was selected as the next available agenda that the appeal could be continued and that was amendable to both parties. ALTERNATIVES: Set an alternate date for the review. FISCAL EFFECTS: None at this time. Report compiled on: October 5, 2017
