ORDINANCE NO. 1302
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIG-
NATION FROM AN "AS" (AGRICULTURAL SUBURBAN) TO AN
"RS-1" (RESIDENTIAL--SUBURBAN COUNTRY ESTATES, ONE-
ACRE MINIMUM) DISTRICT ON CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY NO.
673, LOCATED IN THE WEST ONE-HALF OF THE EAST ONE-HALF
OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST, MON-
TANA PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONT ANA:
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map change has been properly submitted,
reviewed and advertised in accordance with the procedures of Title 18 of the
Bozeman Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City-County Planning Board held a public hearing on Jan-
uary 23, 1990, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the
request for a zone map change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on February 5,
1990, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a
zone map change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve
zone change criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M.C,A" and found the
proposed zone map change to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map
change would bring the zoning of the property into compliance with the
Bozeman Area Master Plan and would be in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana:
That the zoning district designation of the fol/owing-described property
shall be and is hereby changed from an "A-S" (Agricultural Suburban) District
to an "RS-1" (Residentia/--Suburban Country Estates, One-Acre Minimum) Dis-
trict:
Certificate of Survey No. 673, located in the west one-half of the
east one-half of Section 20, Township 2 South, Range 6 East, Mon-
tana Principal Meridian.
