Dear City Commission:
We are writing on behalf of the Kirby & Radoslovich Families in their exhaustive & transparent work
to qualify as a Cooperative Household. We have been Bozeman residents for nearly 45 years & have
known the Kirby’s, well, for at least 20 years. We have been supportive financially of their ministries
because of their integrity, character, transparency & deep desire to serve MSU students through
CRU. They have been responsible & passionate about creating a culture of community & caring for
the spiritual growth & development of college students….our next generation of leaders!! We have
also served alongside of them, in other capacities, to bring about positive cultural change for our
community. Their creative way of further strengthening the overall sense of community, & doing it
in an affordable way, is what makes them a special couple & makes Bozeman the unique & diverse
city that it is. Their Cooperative Housing ownership will enhance the economic value of their home
& neighborhood. Additionally, Baxter Meadows will benefit by strengthening their neighborhood’s
sense of community through service & investment in the lives of their neighbors. Our
understanding is that the Baxter Meadows HOA approved of this arrangement. In light of the HOA
approval, we see no “downside” to approving their application.
We highly recommend that the Kirby/Radoslovich application be approved. Thanks so much for the
opportunity to submit our opinion & thoughts!
