Dear Commissioners and Mayor Taylor,
I am writing to encourage you to oppose I-183. This initiative is contrary to my values which stress the
dignity and worth of every person. Subjecting our LGBT community to such a discriminatory law makes no
sense to me. We have worked hard to make Bozeman a place in which everyone feels welcome and is safe.
This initiative is a huge step backward and the implications have not been considered.
There have been no incidents involving transgender persons harming others and I see no reason to allow
this measure to go forward. Please register your opposition.
