Re- Black Olive Building Project
Position- I Do Not support the Black Olive building project that is
proposed.
Explanation:
--[if !supportLists]-->1) <!--[endif]-->There is an unacceptable transition from the
historic, 1-2 story neighborhood to the height and appearance of this Black
Olive building.
--[if !supportLists]-->2) <!--[endif]-->The Black Olive building’s design (mass, scale,
appearance, neighborhood block character, historic context, etc) is not
appropriate to the neighborhood.
--[if !supportLists]-->3) <!--[endif]-->There is no parking plan for a building with this
many residents and their guests that is compatible with the neighborhood.
--[if !supportLists]-->4) <!--[endif]-->This volume of residents an their vehicular
traffic is inappropriate to the downtown Bozeman and this neighborhood.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->5) <!--[endif]-->I will support the existing and any future
lawsuits against the city relating to this type of project.
--[if !supportLists]-->6) <!--[endif]-->As related to this project alone, the performance
of the Bozeman City Council and mayor is unacceptable and I will be
supporting a wholesale change of these elected officials.
--[if !supportLists]-->7) <!--[endif]-->As both a resident of northeast Bozeman and
business owner, I do not support this Black Olive project.
