Hello,
I am writing to voice my concern over the $2k housing allowance and the the over $500/month for vehicle
allowance for the city manager position. I hadn't realized these allowances were part of the compensation
package. I do not agree with them. The posted salary is more than fair for the position and adding those additional
perks seems extravagant. As a long time family of Bozeman we work extremely hard to be able to afford to live
here; our combined professional salaries do not match up to the offered base salary for the city manager. Please
explain the reasoning for these allowances that I do not support.
