My wife and I have been a resident of Bozeman for a decade. We are extremely concerned about the
issue of affordable housing in our city. We know two young couples in the community that are attempting
to solve the affordable housing issue by applying for a cooperative Housing Permit to share a large
single-family home in the Baxter Meadows Subdivision. The couples are Matt and MeeHee Kirby and
Jesse and Megan Radoslovich. Both couple are of the highest character and contributing members to
both Bozeman and MSU. We would personally vouch for their character and integrity.
We also know most people would have just gone around the city and the local HOA, but these young
marrieds chose to do the right thing and be up front with what they are trying to do. We believe they
should be granted their CUP as it is a great way for them to address affordable housing issue. From our
review of city code, they meet all 7 criteria to receive a CUP and there is no reasonable reason they
should not be granted it. We know how they've taken care of other properties they lived at in Bozeman
and are 100% confident that they will only improve the Baxter Meadows subdivision by the living in it. We
are encouraging the commission to grant their CUP.
