HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-04-17 Public Comment - F. Boom - Homeless Citizens & Black Olive IIFrom: Bozeman, MT [mailto:webadmin@bozeman.net]  Sent: Tuesday, October 3, 2017 11:00 AM To: Web Admin <webadmin@BOZEMAN.NET> Subject: Feedback for City Of Bozeman You have received this feedback from Faye Boom < fdboom@gmail.com > for the following page: https://www.bozeman.net/government/city-commission/contact-us Do you see the irony in two upcoming dates in Bozeman? On Oct. 7 there will be a meeting about the homeless and small housing, sponsored by HRDC, MSU and St James church. Apparently there is no input from the City. On Oct. 9, the Commission will meet to decide, and probably approve, the Black Olive project for the very wealthy. Shouldn't the Commission be just as concerned with the have-nots as with the haves? Don't you represent all of us? Should not the City be trying to find solutions for the homeless and on-the-edge citizens? Are you afraid of liability if you do something? Or is it just because the homeless pay little or no taxes?
