Dear Commissioner Krauss,
Thank You for the many years you have spent on the Commission, although wesee things differently, I do appreciate your service. I know what it means, so
Thank You for that.I am writing to you to request that the housing stipend and vehicle stipend in the
next City Manager's contract be withheld for the initial contract. I believe it isparamount that the City Manger understand what it is like to live in Bozeman
FIRSTHAND. Most Bozemanites do not receive a housing stipend or vehiclestipend. Secondly, after reviewing her resume it is clear she likes to move around
a lot. Perhaps withholding those two items initially is not a bad idea if she findsshe cannot take the winters, after all they can always be added as rewards later at
any point in time after all you are the City Commission, you folks can add it toyour agenda at any point.
Thank you for your time, I am not the only one who feels this way about the CityManger's contract.
