Both want a desirable place to play during the temperature months. The pickle ball players, of course, want the Southside courts on College. These courts are also the best tennis courts in Bozeman. The surface of these courts is much easier on aging bones than the courts at MSU or the High School. I also remember how hard the tennis community worked to help raise the money to resurface these courts. Prior to restoration, these courts were in dismal shape. I would suggest that if the city wants to designate court space for pickle ball, They should designate the Bogart courts. If the Pickle Ball community wants a similiar surface to the Southside courts, they need to start fundraising.
