I say NO. Our City Commission states that these five story buildings will have no effect on the character and charm of Bozeman. Really? We have an abundance of very talented people here in Bozeman and we can’t find a way to accomplish infill without five story, completely out of context buildings? Sorry, but his does not meet the smell test. We elected City Commissioners to represent the people. Apparently, they do not understand this concept. It seems on this issue, they are representing the developers and their profits. They keep saying that they are listening to the people but their actions reflect that they are not. I do not live in these particular neighborhoods that will bear the brunt of Black -Olive or the future five story buildings that are coming ( and yes they will be coming). However, we will all feel the effect when the character and charm that we all enjoy about Bozeman is gone.
