I am a Midtown resident and wholeheartedly support the proposal to waive the parking minimums for B2M in Midtown. Our main commercialcorridor, N 7th Ave, has an immense amount of on street parking that is vastly underutilized. I support the idea of no parking minimums in a commercial area such as this. The valuable landthere should be used to buildings and spaces that contribute to the character of the place and the economics for our neighborhood. It should not be used for the storage of cars. I recognizethat much has been made of the potential for downtown parking to spill over into the neighborhoods. I feel that this has been vastly overstated. Additionally, Midtown has an overabundance of unused parking. As a property owner on N 9th Ave I am thrilled by the changes in Midtown over the last couple of years and welcome B2M and R5 development coming toMidtown. The parking in front of my house is not mine, it is ours (Bozeman) and should be utilized to maximize the economic benefits of thriving commercial places. For these reasons, Iurge you to support the proposed changes to the B2M parking requirements and waiving those requirements in Midtown. Thank you. Taylor Lonsdale City Resident426 N 9th Ave.
