Honorable Mayor Taylor and fellow Commissioners,
As you rush to decide the validity of the inclusion of Subchapter 4B in B-3 zoning requirements, it is obvious to
most people that the process used in developing these requirements was flawed. Seriously flawed. The process
should start over, with all stakeholders represented. If developers and architects are the only ones writing the rules,
they will be the ones who benefit. Involve everyone that is impacted by such zoning requirements in an open and
transparent process. In its current form, the zoning requirements as written, do not pass the smell test. Affirming
them will have huge and far reaching negative impacts on our community.
