I am unable to attend tonight's meeting. However I would like to submit my opinion in favor of allowing ADU's with
reasonable allowances for setbacks, size of ADU, parking, etc.
I live at 708 South Grand Avenue. I have a garage with livable quarters above, but it is currently not legal to rent
out this affordable space within walking distance to downtown and the university.
My neighbor, HJ Schmidt and Tammy Minge will be presenting what they see as appropriate restrictions as well as
allowances in our neighborhoods to promote infill and affordable housing. Please consider their request and that I
am in support of their presentation this evening. Thank you. Cecily Johnson
