SUBJECT: North Park Development Easement Application to Montana Rail Link for Access Road MEETING DATE: September 11, 2017

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize City Manager to sign BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy (original to City Clerk) of an application to Montana
Rail Link to obtain an easement for an emergency access road to future
Wheat Drive, to be constructed by the North Park property developer,
from existing Red Wing Drive. Engineering staff reviewed the application
and find it acceptable. The developer, North Park Development Partners,
LLC, must pay any fees for the application and will be required to install
the emergency access road as a condition of the North Park Master Site
Plan Application # 15-273.
FISCAL EFFECTS: N/A. Developer pays fees.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
