AE2S, Inc.
THIS AGREEMENT is made as of this 21 st day of July,2017, between THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,a Municipal
Corporation,P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman,MT 59715 (OWNER)and Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services,
Inc. with offices at 1050 East Main, Suite 2, Bozeman, MT 59517(CONSULTANT).
WHEREAS,the Parties have entered into a Professional Services Agreement dated December 28th,2015 herein
referred to as Original Agreement for professional consulting services; and
WHEREAS,the Parties desire to further amend the provisions of the Original Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE,IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS CONTAINED HEREIN, the
Parties agree as follows:
1. TASK ORDER A,attached hereto,is added to Scope of Work. Task Order A includes improvements to
the drought monitoring dashboard,drought model calibration and drought model performance;as well
as storage and maintenance of drought monitoring data on AE2S server.
Except as specifically amended herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect, and the Parties
shall be bound by all terms and conditions therein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the Parties hereto do make and execute this Agreement on the day and year first above
written.

TASK ORDER A
Scope of Services
The following scope of work describes additional services by AE2S to be provided under the contract between
the City of Bozeman and AE2S for the Drought Management Plan(DMP). The additional services are detailed
below. Task numbering reflects that these services are hereby added to the original agreement tasks (numbered 0.0
through 1.10).
Task 1.11-Gallatin River:Conversion from monthly data to daily data
Tasks • ENGINEER shall update percent exceedance values to reflect the change from monthly to
daily data.
• ENGINEER shall update the calibration model,stage triggers,and weighting factors to
reflect daily data.
Proposed • 16 Hours
Hours/Fee . $2,180
Task 1.12-Hyalite/Middle Creek Reservoir conversion from monthly data to daily data
Tasks • ENGINEER shall coordinate with USGS/NRCS to establish data link to daily data for the
Hyalite/Middle Creek Reservoir.
• ENGINEER shall update web-portal for to poll the daily data for the Reservoir.
• ENGINEER shall update percent exceedance values for the Reservoir to reflect the change
from monthly to daily data.
• ENGINEER shall update the calibration model,stage triggers,and weighting factors to
reflect the change to the use of daily data.
Proposed • 28 Hours
Hours/Fee . $3,996
Task 1.13-Web-Portal updates
Tasks 0 ENGINEER shall charge a yearly hosting fee(for three years)for server space and for
maintaining real-time access to the web-portal.
• ENGINEER shall ensure system functionality,make updates as server protocols and
agency server connections change,and monitor health of the web-portal.This work shall
be completed on an hourly basis as needed,not to exceed$1,500 without prior
authorization from the City.
Proposed Fee . $500 annual fee($1,500 for three years)
• $150 hourly fee for system maintenance(as needed)
Deliverables:
• Revised Calibration Model and Operating Model(in Excel format).
Compensation
ENGINEER will perform Task Order A at direct labor costs consistent with those included in the Original
Agreement. Additionally,reimbursable expenses associated with travel and deliverables will be billed consistent
with the Original Agreement as well. The total for Task Order A is $7,676. Compensation by Task is shown
below.
