In reference to Resolution No 4818
levying a special assessment to defray the cost of maintaining trees.
As a tax payer for 418 N. Fifth Ave of Bozeman Mt. I object to paying taxes
for maintaining trees when there is no written record of what consists of
maintaining. I think the resolution should add a description of maintenance
such as the City will trim trees that overhang the sidewalks to a height of six
feet. The City will trim dead trees and limbs and replant trees that have died.
The City will pick up leaves that are raked onto the curb before November 1 st
of each year. When there is an insect problem that is putting the trees in
danger the City will spray insecticide.
