The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in reipJ1ar session in the Commis.'~ion Room,
City Hall Building, Ii'riday evening, May 1st, 1942, at 7:30 o'clock P.~,~. Those bning present

Manar:er Quinnell, Dirac tor of F'inance 1Nal ter Davis, and the Clerk, when the following pro-
ceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was roved b'r Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approved as read and the mo-
tion was carried by the following Aye and No vo te; tho ~~e voting Aye be i-ng Mayor Bus cb, Com-
misC'ioner Sorensor. and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none.
Claims for the Month
Claims Nos. 2776 to 2915 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows:

The Manap'sr stated he has audited these claims and finds tbem to be true and lawful
claims ag~inst The City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their pa::{ment.
After examination of the cla::ms in detail by the City Comwission, it was moved by CommissIoner
Lancloe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that warrants be drawn for their payment and the
motion was carried by. the followlnp: Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch,
Commiss:toner Landoe and Commissioner Sorenson; those votinq: No, none.

together with a ~uit clai~ deed covering the transfer.
It was explal.ned tha t the date and block nu,;,bers in the ori>,;inal agroe>ren ts had been
changed as sup~ested by the contracting parties, and th~t the transfer or exchan?G of tbese

blocks as shown in the new apreement had been approved by the Cemetery Board.
It was moved by Commis sioner Landoe, seconded by Commis sioner Sorenson till t the
Mayor and Clerk be au thorized to sign the IL<:!'reements and the Deed for The Ci ty' of Boze-
man, said deed to be delivered to Gallatin Lodpe # 6, when their deed is delivered to

Delegate to Planning CrnJncil
The VIanager reported that the Airport Board had recommended th8t a representative
be sen t to the Northwes t Avia tion Planning Council to be he Id in Spokane, June 19 tl1 and
20th, 1942. After dIscus sion, it was moved by Commis si oner Sorenson, seconded b:"T Com-
missioner Land,oe that it being in the public interest, a representative of the Airport
Board be instructed to attend the Northwest Aviation Planning Council to be held June
19 8e 20 and tho. t his expenses be paid from the Airport !t'und and the r.lO tion was carried
by the following Aye and No vote; those vo ting Aye being Mayor Bus eh, Commis sion,c)r

Purchase of Fire H08e
The I.Ianaaer stated The City of Bozeman could not fret a priority rat:ng to purchase
fire hose. and thR t he cOlllc1 plJrchase 360 feet of fire hose from the Hall-Perry Machinery
Company of Bu tte, for $450.00. It was pointed ou t the t the Fire Department uro:en tly
needed more hose as its present supply was inadequate.
Whereupon, it was movec:l by
Commissiorer Landoe, seconded by Commlsi'ioDf:;r Sorenson that the City Manar:cer be author-
ized to p1Jrchase 360 feet of fire hose from the IIall-perry Mac]Jlnery Compan;T and the
motion was carried by the followine; ..:i.ye and No vote; those votinrr Aye being Mayor Busch,
Comrnissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lancloe; those voting No, none.

Armroy Board would appear before the Conmlission to diSCllSS a proposed lease contract
agreement for the leasing and maintenance of the Bozeman Arrrory, and the motion was
carried by the follow:1ng i.ye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Com-
missioner Sorenson and CommIssioner Landoe; those voting No, none.
