The Commission of The City of BozemAn met in reglllar session in the Commission Room,
Ci ty IIall Builclinp:, Frida y evening, May 22nd, 1942, at 7: 30 0' clock P. ~,~. Those being
present were r~ayor Busch, Commis::oloner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken, City Manap;er
Quinnell, Director of Finance Wal tor Davis and the Clerk, when the followinf proceedings
were had to-wit:
'I'he minutes of the last rep:ular session were read, and it was moved by Cormnissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Mayor BtlSch thAt the minutes be approved as read and the motion

~r:r. Ray Morgan, who owns property at 519 South 9th, appeared before the Commission
to ask what was to be done about the movin~ of the 7arage at 513 South 9th, which was
built contrary to the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
Mr. Morgan was informed that Mr. G. M. Beatty, w~o built the gara~e, had furnished
a bond to the City to puarantee the moving of the garage by JUYle 1, 1942. After dis-
cussion, it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the City
Attorne~T notify Mr. G. r-.T. Beatty that he has until Juno 1st, 1942 to move the garage in
compliance with the bond furnished, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote; those 'TOtin,t:!' Aye being Mayor Busch and Commissioner' Sorenson; those votlng No,none.
Applications for City License
The following applications for City licenses were presented and read:

It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the ap-
plica tions be approved and tbe licenses issned ami the motion was carried by the fol-
lowinrr Aye and lTO vote; those voting Aye being Mayor B'Jscl1 and Comr.rtssioner Sorenson;
those voting No, none.

The Manso:er read a communic8tion from Y,r. L':. G. Hen rick.son, stating that the in-
stallation of a trAnsmitting tower on the Bozemnn Hotel would not interfere with radio
reception a t the Hotel, and th? t perT'lis s ion to ins tall the tower would be r:ran ted provid-
ing tha t there was no such interference.
Airport
A proposed joint-reso111tion for the C:1ty of Bozeman, ToV'm of Belgrade and County of
Gallat:in was read, whereby tax levies are to be mAde for the maintenance of the Airport.
Mr. Aitken, City Attorney, reported that the court has awarded the City the right
