The Commission of The City of Bozem8.n met in regular s es sian in the Commis .7i on Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, July 3rd, 1942, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being pres-
ent were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Landoe, Commissioner uorenson, City Attorney Aitken,
City Manager Quinnell, Director of Finance vialter Davis and the Clerk, when tl:e following
proceedings were had t6-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approved as read and the
motion was carried b~T the following Aye and No vote; those voting H.ye being Mayor Busch,
Commls::>ioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; thoee voting No, none.
Protest -- W & C 1942 Order
Mr. T. B. Holker, 1104 South Fifth, appeared before the Commission in regard to the
walk ordered constructed ad.1acent to his property. He stated the need for this walk has
not changed since las t year and as it would only serve one family he felt tha t the order
should not be enforced at this time because of war conditions. The matter was disc1Jssed
at length, and it was decided to ask Hr. .Joe Livers who has several times requested that
this piece of walk be const~lcted to appear before the Commission and st~te his reasons
for asking for this sidewalk construction and thus aid the Commissioners in arriving at
an intelligent decision as to the present need for the improvement.
Lease for hangar Space on Airport
The lease agreement between The City of Bozeman and Mr. John 1". Lynch for hangar space
on the new airport was presented and read.
The contents having been thoroughly discussed
before, it was T'1oved by Commissioner o::>orenson, seconded b;! Commissioner Landoe that the
Lease be approved and the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to sign the lease for The
City of Bozeman and the motion was carried by the following 1.ye and No vote; those voting
Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No,none.
Resobltion No. 512 -- Joint Oppration of Airport
The Manager read a resolu tion providing for the joInt opera tion and maIn tenance by
'I'he City of Boz eman and Galla tin Goun ty of the Airport now under cons tr'uction. He pre-
sented Resolution No. 512, entitled:

After discussion, it wasmoved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Soren-
son that the Resolution be passed and adopted and the motion was carried b:7 the followLng
Aye and No vote; those vot:tng Aye being Mayor BUSCh, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner
Landoe; those voting No, none.
Applications for City Licenses
The following applications for City Licenses were presented and read:

claims a,gainst The City of Bozeman, and recommends that warrants be drav'ffi for their pay-
ment. After examination of the claims in detail by the Commission, it was moved by
