Those being present wer e Mayor Busch, 'Gomrnis s ioner Lando e, Commis sioner Sorenson, City Manager Ql.1inne 11, Director of Finance Wal ter Davis, a nd the Clerk, when the following proceedlngs were had: rl'he minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissi oner 0orenson the t the minutes be approved as read, ancl the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those vo ting Aye be:lng Ma yor Busch, Commissioner Landoe and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none. Claims for July Claims Nos. 3267 to 3443 inclusive were presented on the various ~lnds as follows: Airport C erne tery Fire General Library Park Street Water Band Ceme tery Suspense Garbage "War Bond $ 12.40 1,484.03 8,143.82 7,282.73 752.83 1,560.25 17,533.17 2,406.83 134.00 65.00 800.00 470.00 $ 40,645.06 Total The Manager stated he bas audited these claims and finds them to be true and lawful claims against The City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their pay- ment. After examination of the claims in detail, it was moved by Commissioner L~ndoe, seconded by Commi2sioner Sorenson that warrants be drawn for their payment, and the mo- tion was carried by the followin~ Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Reports The follOWing reports for the month of July were presented and read: Cashier Ent!ineer Fire Chief Police Judge Cerne tery Board Health Officer Water Collector plumbing Inspector State Board of Health It was soved by Commissioner Sorenson. seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the repor ts be accep ted and ordered filed and the mo tion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commis sioner Sorenson and Commiss ioner Lsndoe; those voting No, none. Bonds for Policemen The bonds of the following policemen, in the amount of $1000.00 each were presented: Robert Jess Mullica Albert Nicholas Haas Hilbert E. Miles Garbage Contract The bond of J. S. Miles, in the amount of $2,323.75 for garbage collection and dis- posal for 11 months endin~ June 30th, 1943, was presented and read. It was ~oved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded b;;" Commissioner Landoe tha t the bond be approved and ac- cepted sub je c t to the approval of the Ci ty A ttorney and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Conrrnissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Bids for Auto Insurance . The Manager stated the insurance on the ci ty fleet covering persona 1 and property damage would expire, September 22nd, 1942. After discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids for liabili t;T insurance on the ci ty cars during the com:Lng year and the motion was carried b;r the following "1.ye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commisioner Landoe and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
