HomeMy WebLinkAbout1942-10-10 474 Bozeman, Montana October 16, 1942 The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, October 16th, 1942, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. 1''' l'hose being present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Landoe, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken, City Manager Quinnell, City Engineer Thorpe, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Acting Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Landoe, second~d by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read and the I. IDotion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Armory--Lease Authorized L. H. Richardson of the Montana Armory Board was present and discussed with the Commission- ers and City Manager, and City Attorney in detail the contents of the lease drawn up by the Armory Board between the Armory Board and The City of Bozeman. A substitute lease was then presented and read by the City Manager. The City Attorney suggested minor additions which he felt should be made in the lease as presented by the City Manager, and Mr. Richardson agreed to the conditions. It was moved by Commissioner Landoe and seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the City Commission authorize the signing of the lease as amended and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No""te; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoej those voting No, none. Report The following report for the month of September was presented and readj Plumbing Inspector It was moved by Commissioner Landoe and seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the re- port be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor BuSCh, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. I Gas and Plumbing Bonds The Indemnity bonds of H. B. McCay for a Master Plumber's license and a Gas Fitters license was presented to the City Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson and seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the bonds be accepted and a license for same be issued to li. B. McCay. The motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the fo110~ng Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner ~orenson and Commissioner Landoej those voting No, none.
