The Commis1:1ion of The C1 ty of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,

Ci ty Hall Building, Friday evening, Dc tober 23rd, 1942, at 7 :30 0 'clock P. M. Those being
present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Landoe, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken,
City Manager Quinnell, Director of Finance Walter Davis, City Engineer Thorpe, and the
Ac tine; Clerk of the Commiss ion, when the following proceedj,ngs were had to-wi t:
Tbe minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commisf:lioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe, that the minutes be approved as read and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor BusCh,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none.
Petition - Re: Street-Light
City Manager Quinnell read a petition in which appeared the names of twenty-two signers,
requesting that a street light be installed at the corner of Lamme and Rouse Avenue. The
matter was discussed at length but no formal action was taken by the Commission.
Armory
Rental Charges
Ci ty Manager Quinnell s ta ted tha t a defini te price schedule should be arranged cover-
ing rentals to be charged by the City for use of the Community Room and Drill Hall in the
Bozeman Armory. The Commissioners agreed that inquiry should be made regardIng charges
made for similar accomodations in the City and it was suggested that the City Manager
draw up a resolution covering the proposed schedule of prices and present it for the con-
sideration of the Commission at the next regular meeting, October 30th, 1942.
Airport -- Notice of Completion
ltTayor Busch read a letter from Paul M,....rris, Regional ~:ranager of the Civil Aeronautics
Administration, in which Mr. Morris gave notice that the grading, drainage, paving and
fencing work on the project instituted by the Civil Aeronautics Administration for the
development of the Bozeman Airport, Docket No. 904-24-2, had been completed, and the field
is now ready for daylight op0ration. Mr. Morris called attention to the obligations
assumed by The Ci ty of Bozeman in Resolution adopted by the City Commission on Augus t 20th,
1941, in respect to the future operation, maintenance, and protection of the Airport. The
letter was ordered filed with the Clerk of the Commission.

There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Landoe, second.ed by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those votIng Aye be ing Mayor
Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none.
