HomeMy WebLinkAbout1943-01-08 I I I Bozeman, Montana January 8th, 1943 49~ The Commission of The Cit;r of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commis,~ion Room, City Hall Buildin~, Friday evening, January 8th, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present were Mayor Busch, Commif\sioner Sorenson, Commissioner Landoo, City Attorney Aitl{en, Ci ty Managor Quinnell, Director of Finance V{al ter Davis, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the last repular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, soc:mded by Gommis sioner Landoe tha t the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commi8sioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Applications for City Licenses The following Applications for City Licenses were presented and read: Hotel Lyall Lay Lmmdry Wagner Bros. Reports The following reports for the month of December, 1942 were presented and read: Cashier Engineer Librarian Fire Chief Police Judge Police Chief Came tery Board Water Collector Director of Finance Plumblng Inspector Plumbing Inspector for November. and the followinR annual reports were pres~nted and read: Librarian Fire Chief Police Judge Police Chief Water Collector Plumbing Inspector and the semi-annual report of Opf":rAting Costs and Capital Outlay". It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the reports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye ane' No vote; those voting Aye be:ing Mayor BUSCh, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Appoin tmen ts The Mayor announced the following appointments to the Library Board: D. S. Williams Mrs. J. M. Hamilton and l";;vere tt ,J. Wallum to fi 11 the unexpired term of Judson W. Conger. It was moved by Com~lissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commis~ioner Landoe that the appointments be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those votlnp: Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting 1Jo, none. 4~}4 Hesl::ma tion The Manager read the resignation of Mr. Joseph Nee as Water Shed Patrolman, and stated that if there were no objecttons he would appoint Ancel Portnell as Patrolman. There were no objections.
