City Hall Building, Friday evening, Febro_ary 13th, 1942 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being

Bids for Police Car
The Manager s ta ted this was the time and place set for the opening of bids for a car
for the Police Department. He presented the affidavit of publication of the Notice to
Bidders, whereupon, it was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by CO:rrL':Jiss:loner Sorenson,
that the bicls be opened and the motion was carried b,r the followincr, Aye and No vote; those
vot::'ng Aye be-ing Ma'ror Busell, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those vot:lng
No, none.
The following bids were then opened and read:

After the explanations, it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner
Landoe tho. t the b ids and specifica ti ons be referred to the City Manag er for tabulation and
compartson, with instrllc tions to report a t the next mea ting and the motion was carried by
the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commisdoner Sorenson
and Commissioner &1sch; those voting No, none.

Report
The report of the Director of Finance for the month of January was presented. It
was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the report be
accepted and ordered fi led and the motion was cr-lrried by the fo11ow:ing Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, Commis~,1ioner Sorenson and Commissioner Busch; those
vo ting No, none.
Bids for Garba~e Contract
The Mana~sr s ta ted the present contrac t for garbage hauling would expire March 318 t,
1942. The me tter of a garbarre halJling con trac t for the coming year was thoroughly dis-
cussed and it was moved b''" Commis :cioner Lanclos, seconded by Commissioner Qorenson tha t the
Ci ty Man,gger be au thorized to advertise for bids for garbae:e hau.ling for a period of 15
mon ths beginning April 1, 1942 and ending ,Tune 30th, 1943. Bids to covor the hauling of
garbage and rubbish from residen tiel property only; and also from all property in the
Ci ty including bu.sines s property, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote; those voting Aye being Ma;mr Busch, Commis sioner Sorenson and Commis sioner
Landoe; those voting No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission a t this time, it was
moved by COml1'issioner Sorenson, seconded b;r Commissioner Landoe that the meeting ad,iourn
