'1'he Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, March 27th, 1942, at 7:30 o'clock P.T,T. Those being
present were Mayor B~sch, Commissioner Landoe, Commissioner Sorenson, City Manager
Quinnell, Director of Finance Vvalter Davis and the Clerk, when the following proceedin"s

The minutes of the last regu.lar session were read, and it was moved by Commis."ioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approvod as read and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; UJOse voting Aye being Mayor Busch,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those votin~ No, none.
Applic8tions for City License
The followin~ appli0ations for City Licenses were presented and read:

plications be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the follow:lng

Maintenance of Airports
The Manager r~ad information on maintenance cost and revenues of Airports in opera-
tion in Miles Cit).', Billings and Great Fqlls, which were discussed.
He also read information concerning the original cost, cost of operation and source
of revenue for the Armory Building at Poplar, Mont8na.
Blackout Instructions
The Manager presented copies of Blackollt Inptru_ctions which the Commission examined.
Members of the Commission stated they had no corrections or a:_:cl-ttions to make. The Man-
agel' reported he was having coy;ies printed to be mailed out witb the monthly water bills.
Final la;711'ent On Service Bu11dinp;
~r. Fred Willson, Architect, appeared before the Commission and stated there was
owing W. D. 'v'Villmor'-; ~$84B.91, to complete the payment of the contrHct on the Service
Building constructed at the Cemetery. Mr. Willson stated the construction of the build-
ing yms completed except for cleaning and pointinrr the brickwork and recommended that the
amount of ~~95.00 owed JOB . Felsheim for the brick work be held back until that work is
completed to the architect's satisfaction.
The matter was disc1Jssed thoroughl;T by the Comn'ission, whereupon, it was moved by
CorrJnissioner Landoe, seconded by Cornmis rlioner Sorenson that the am01mt of $848.91 be paid
to W. D. Willmore subject to the accept~nce of the B1Jilding by thA Cemetery Board, and that
the amount of ~95.00 be held up Dending the completion of the brick work and its approval
by the architect. Said payment to be slJb,;ect also to the contractor furnishinr; receipts
from ma terial men showin~ tha t all supplies furnished by tl~,eJ11 for the bullel ing had been
fnlly paid for, and t1-:e motion was carried by the follow:l_np; Aye and no vote; those voting
Aye being IITa~Tor Busch, Com"l'issioner ~30ren[Jon and Comc"Ylisi'io'er Landos; those voting No, none.
