The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Conunis~)lon Room,
City lIall Buildin,g, B'riday evening, January 24, H)41, at 7:30 o'eloek P.~E. 'l'ho:Je being
present were Mayor IIoey, Commissioner Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken,
Ci ty Manager Lake and the Clerl{ when the following proceedings were had to-wi t:
The minutes of the last regular session were read anll it was moved by Commis;;ioner
Sorenson, seconded by Conunissioner BUSCl'l the t the roinute3 be approve<l as read and the
motion was carried by the followin~ Aye and No vote; those voting Aye baine Mayor Eoey,
Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting 1;0, none.

the license fee now paid by wholesalers of perishable products is inadequate to defray

as well as the local wholesaler, tha t the license fee should be raised so as to provide
the necessary funds for such regulAtion and inspection, but not to exceed $100.00.
The City Attorney stated that a rate that was higher than a reasonablo amount
for regulation could not be made.
After disClJ.ssion by the Commission and those present, it was moved by Commissioner
Busch, seconded by Commi.s sioner Sorenson tha t the City Attornoy be ins truc ted to prepare
an ordinance amending the presen t Ordinance regulating the license fee of wholesalers
of :[2erislmble products and the transient wholesalers and the motion was carried by the
followIng Aye and No vote; Uose voting l..ye being !\Tayor Hoe:;, Commissioner Busch and
Commissionor Sorenson; those voting lifo, none.

The followinG applications for Ci ty Licenses were presented and read:

It was moved by Commissioner ~orenson,
seconded by Commissioner Bllsch that the app-
lications be approved ancl tile licenses issued & the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; tLose voting Aye being Mayor Hoey, Commissioner Buscl) and Commissioner
Soronson; those voting No, none.

'l'he Ci ty Manager's Annual Roport for the year 1940 was presented. I t was moved by
Comnissioner BuscL, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the report be accepted and
ordered flIed and t~-,o matter of publishing the report be decided by the Ci t;;r ii-'anac;er Lake
and City Attorney Ai tlcen, and the motion was carried b~7 the followinG Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Boey, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those
voting NO, none.
