The Commlssion of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
Ci ty Hall Building, Friday evening, February 28, 1941, at 7 :30 0' clock P. M. Those beIng
present were Mayor Hoey, Commissioner Busch, Comrnissl oner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken,
City Manaeer Lake, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Clerk, when the following
proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Busch, seconded b~r Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read and the mo-
tiOD was carried b;7 the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor IIoey,
Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
Applications for City Licenses
The following applications for City Licenses were presented and read:
Cosner Hotel
Edgle Cleaners
:Phil Shane, Jr.
Vogue Millinery
Kessler Dairy
Bonton Bakery
Galla tin Drug Co.
Montana Flour Mills
EverGreen Grocery
BonTon Flour Mills
Dokken Funeral Home
Gallatin Farmer's Co.
It was moved by Corrnnissioner Sorenson, seconded by Cow.TI'.issioner Busch that the ap-
plications be approved and: the licenses issued ani the motion was carried by the fol-
lowing Aye and No vote; those voting Aye be ing }/;ayor Hoey, Cornmis sioner Bus ch and Com-
missioner Sorens on; those voting No, none.
Pollee Radio ~lsc~ssed
Mr. W. J. Sullivan, rad:o technician, appeared before t..'YJ.o Commission and discussed
short-wave radio for the Police Department.

lrr. C. E. Coulston, C.P.A. appeared before the Commission and ,presented his report
of the annual audit. 'I'he report of the Cemetery Board for the month 01' February was
presented. I t was moved by Commis sioner Sorenson, seconded by Commis sioner Buscll that
the reports be accepted and ordered filed and. the motion was carried by the followini

Amendments to Traffic Ordinance
The City Attorney presented copies of the amendmen ts to the Traffic Ordinance as
recommended by theChief of Police. '1'he copies were examined and appro ved by the Com-

Garbage Di( Amended
The l,:anC?ger stated that Julian rtlles had asked to be pend ttod to change his bid
for garbage collection from $9775.00 to :~9,225.00; the offer was discussed by theCom-.
mission but no action was taken.
