The Commission of The City of Bozeman met pursuant to adjournment, in the Commission
Room, City Hall Building, Saturday morning, r{arch 22,1941, at 11:30 o'clock A.M. Those
being present were Mayor Boey, Corrrrnisdoner Busc:;:J anel Commissionol' .sorenson, City i\.ttor-
ney Aitken, City Manager Lake and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had:
Sale of Williams &. Huff Ranches
The offer of T. W. Symmonds to purchase the Euff c:,~ Williams ranches was discussed
further by the Commission, and it was moved by COm1i!issioner Sorenson, seconded b;i~ Com-
missioner Busch that the offer of T. W. Symmonds to purcrlase from The Cit~7 of BOZCf;"lan,
wha t is known as the Vifilliams and Huff farm properties for tho price of :1~G500 .00, less
5)& real es tate broker's commission, balance to be paid $200.00 as e;oocl fai tr. deposi t wi th
offer, the receipt of which is hereb',' acknowledged; ~~1300 .00 upon execu tlon of contrac t;
:$1000.00 in one year and $1000.00 each succeedIng year until balance is paid; deferred
payments to bear 6); annual interest, payable annually with privilege of prepa~l1nent, be
accepted anel the City Attorney be instructed to draw a resolution and a contract accord-
ingly and resc:l_nding Commission Resolution No. 492, au thorizing the sale of the Huff
property to Lester Covey (or Coney); the said Covey (Coney) nob having complied with
same nor communica ted in any wi th tt.e C,l ty with reference there to, and tile mo tion was
carried, by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Boey, Commissioner
Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those votine; No, n::me.
Hesolution No. 494 -- 8810 of Williams & Huff Ranches
The ~;anager stated the City Attorney as instructed had prepared the Resolution
authorizing tho sale of the Huff & Willaims ranches. He presented Resolution No. 494,
