'1'hose being present were Mayor Eoey, Commissioner Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken, Ci ty Manager Lake, and the Clerk when the following pro ceed:lngs were hod to-wi t: The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Conunisslloner Dusch, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Hoey, Commiss ioner Busch and Commls s loner Sorenson; thos e vo ting No, none. Sign for Ohlsen Studio Mrs. Emma Ohlsen, of the Ohlsen Studios, 15 West Main, appearedbefor'3 the Commis- sion and asked permission to move the sio:n that she is now using at her present location to 109 East Main; that she has been asked to vacate the rooms that she now occupies, and therefore has to move her place of bus ineas to a new loca tiOD. The Commissioners acting as a Board of Examiner's and Appeal, as authorized under Ordinance No. 685, after hearing Mrs. Ohlsen, stated that the sign would not be any more objectional at 109 East Main that at 15 West Main, and permission was granted to move the sign. Specitications for Distributor, Roller & Storage Tank rPhe matter of equipment for the maintenance of' paved streets was again discussed by the Connnission, and it was painted out t."lat delivory of equipment is very uncertain; that by advertising for bids within the next few days, time could be saved. Lease of Land for Radio Range Facil:i. ty The Cit:T MaLager presented copIes of the lease between 'rhe City of Bozeman and the United States of America, on the site of the Rad:io Range l<'acility of the Civil Aeronautics Authority, located on the Pondera Tract ovmed by rThe City of Bo""oman. The riianager stated this lease is a continuation of the present lease to the U. S. Government and would and may be renewed at the option of the Government until June 30, 1951. expire June 30th, 1942!. The lease was approved as to form b:J' the Ci ty Attorney, where- upon, it was moved by Cornmis sioner Busch, seconded by Commissi oner Sorenson tha t the lease be a.proved and accepted and tbe Mayor and the Clerk of tho Commission be a1;thor- ized to sign for The City of Bozeman and the motion was carried by the following Aye and NO voto; t:lOse voting Aye beinG Mayor Hoey, Commis~ioner Busch and Commissioner Sorens on; those voting No, none. Telephone Agreement ,-- }'ores t SErvice The Manager presented the renewal of the telephone agreement for 1941 between the Porest Service and The City of Bozeman for the telephone at the south settling basin. The agreement was approved as to form by the City J\ttorney, whereupon, it was moved b;:.;- Commissioner Busch, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the agreement be approved and accepted and the Mayor & Clerk be authorized to sign for The City of Bozeman and I I I I I I 309 the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor IIoey, Commiss loner Busch and Commiss ioner Sorenson; those vo ting No, none. Report of State Board of Health. The Manager presented the report of the State Board of Health, relative to their regular inspec tion of the North and the Sou tr.. Clean - Up 'i;'eek The l,;ayor announced that the Annual Clean-up l:"eek would be the week beginn.i..ng ;r.ay 5th, 1941. Ad,i ournmen t There being no further business to come before the Commission a t this time, it was moved by Commissioner Busch, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn and the motion. was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Hoey, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
