The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the ComnLission
Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, March 1, 1940, at 7:30 0' clock P.M. Those
being present were Mayor Roey, Commissloner E1Iseh, City Attorney Aitken, City Manager

Busch, seconded by Mayor Hoey that the minutes be approved as read and the mob on was

Bids on Garbage Hauling
The Manager stated that this WEtS the time and place set for the opening of' bids for
Garbage Hauling contract for 1940. He presented aJ'fidavit of the publication of the
Notice to Bidders, whereuDoD, it was moved by Co~missioner Busch, seconded by Mayor
Hoey that the bids be opened am the motJon was carried by the following Aye and No
vote; those vot:tng Aye being Mayor Hoey and Conunissioner Buscb; those votlng No, none.

The bond of L. G. Shadoan as Clerk of the Commission and Water Collector, in the
amount of $2,000.00; am the bond of Rachel L. Turcott, as Stenographer and Assistant
Water Collector, in the amount of $2,000.00 were presented. The bonds were approvec]
as to form by the City Attorney, whereupon, it was moved by Commis sioner Busch, seconded

Purchase of Copper Fittings & Pipe
The Manager presented a list of' brass and copper fittings and nipe which was
needed by the City Water Depa.rtment and recommended that purchases of this materia.l be
made.
After discussion, it was moved by Cor.unissloner Busch, seconded by Mayor Roey that
the City Manager be autborized to purchase brass fittings, not to exceed $450.00 in
cost from Mueller Company ard copper pipe and fittings, not to exceed $450.00 in cost
