The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the CommisiJion
Room, City Hall Building, Priday evening, l\:arch 8, 1940, at 7:30 o'clock P.N. Those
being present were Mayor Hoey, Conunissioner Busch, City Attorney Aitken, City Manager
Hehderson, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Clerk, when the following proceedings
were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Busch, seconded by Commtssioncr Hoey that the minutes be approved as read and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; ~ose voting Aye being Mayor Hoey and
Commissloner Busch; those voting No, none.
Bond & Con trac t - - Garbae:e Haulin[
The bond and contract of .J. S. Ii/Tiles for e;arbage haulinc; for T;1e City of Bozeman was
presented. The bond and contract were approved as to form by theCit~i Attorne:r, whereupon,
it was moved by Conunissioner Busch, seconded b:y Mayor Hoey that the bond and contract be
accepted and approved and that the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to sign the contract
for The City of Bozeman and the motion was carried by the following A,;;e and No vote; those
voting Aye being Ma7-ror Hoe'J' and Commissioner Busch; those votin[=" No, none.

It was moved by Commissioner Busch, seconded by Mayor Hoey that the reports be ac-
cepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;

Airport
The Manager reported on the airport meeting held in Llvingston, T',Jonday, !Larch 4, 1940;
and also on a conference wi th Mr. Paul N:orris, Civil Aeronautics Aut:-lOri ty EnGineer. He
stated thGt I\Cr. Morris was to write a letter setting forUJ his rccor:nnendations and opinioLs
concerning the developmon t of the Pondera Trac t as an Airport so tha t the Ci tJ' would
have def~nite information to work with.

that the City Attorney be instructed to pr'epare a resolution of intention to create
the district as peti tioned and the motion was carried by the followin2' Aye and No vote;

There being no further business to come before the C01ilTl1ission at thIs time, it was
