The Commis~}ion of The City of Bozeman met in regular session :~n the Commission
Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening March 22, 1940, at 7:30 o'clock F.M. Those
beIng present Vlere Mayor Hoey, Commissioner Busch, Commis s loner Lake, C1 ty M.anager Hender-
son, Direc tor of F'inanc e Walter Davi s and the Clerk when the following proceedings were
had to-wi t:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Lake, seconded by C01J1..m.issioner Busch thnt the minutes be approved as read and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and 1;0 vote; t:lose voting Aye being I1.aJ'or 11oey, Com-
mi~'sioncr Busch and COrrL'11issioner Lake; those voting No, none.
Applications for City License
The following applications for city licenses were prenented and read:

It was moved by COT:l.'Tlissionor Busch, seconded by COI''J:nissioncr Lal<e that the appli-
ca tlons be approved and the licenses is sued and the moti on was carried by the follow-
ing Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Roey; Commissioner Busch and COmrnis-
s loner La],e; those vo tine; No, none.
Petition for Alley -- Bloclc 6; Babcock (:: DavIs Add.:tlon
A petition of property owners in Block 6 of Babcock and Davis Addition was presented
and read requesting till t the present alley in the block be extended North to Peach Street.
'rhe petition stated that the signer~l would deed ten feet off the rear of' their lots
for alley purposes.
After discussion, the petition was referred to the Clty Attorney for an opinion.
Delegates to Wator ~orkA Convention & School
Attention was called to the Water Works School and Convention to be held in Miles
City April 3, 4, 5, & 6.
After discussion,it was moved b;; Commissioner La:~{6, seconded by Conmlissioner Busch
tlwt it being in the public interest, the Cit;r 1.anar;er and the WaterSuperintendent be
au thorized to a ttend this Water Works School and Conven ti on and tha t their expenses be
paid from the Water Pund and the motion was carried by the followlne; Aye and 1\0 vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Hoey, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Lake; those voting
No, non e .
