I am writing to oppose the Black--Olive development. The Commission denied the permit in
April for a reason and I don't see much that has changed. It still does not have enoughparking. It still is too massive a development for the neighborhood. It still uses unattractive
materials, in short, it is ugly. It is still a threat to the quiet enjoyment of their property by theresidents of the area (I do not live in the area but I sympathize with those who do). I hate the
thought of a "halo" of big box buildings around the downtown area, this will change thecomplexion and feeling of Bozeman for decades. A smaller apartment building that is
affordable to more Bozeman citizens would be a much better use of this space.Faye Boom
