To the City Commission:
We live a few blocks from the proposed Black-Olive development and are not opposed to this
development in principle but are concerned with its inadequate off-street parking. Adjacent to
our backyard is the large Artemus Apartment complex. One house away from us is a large five-
plex on the corner of Tracy and Koch. Across the street from that five-plex is a four-plex. Next
door to use to the north is a three-plex. In addition, many duplexes surround our house. Our
"backyard" thus includes diverse developments but one thing they all have in common is that
they provide adequate off-street parking for their tenants in a traffic-congested area of
Bozeman. We hope that you demand the same of the proposed Black-Olive development and
require that project to provide adequate off-street parking for its tenants.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Matt and Kristi Lavin
