The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday, January 8, 1947, at 1:00 o'clock P. M. Those being present were Mayor Healy,
absent. The following proceedings were had to-wit:
Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Quinnell, City Attorney Aitken, and the Clerk; Commissioner Sorenson.
The minutes of the last regular session were read and approved.
Bids for Street F'lusher
The Manager stated that this was the time and place set for the opening of bids for a street
flusher. He presented and read the affidavit of publication and the Notice to Bidders, whereul'on, it
was carried. Thereupon the following bids were opened end read:

The Manager stated that this was the time and I,lace set for the opening of bids for SID No. 343
bonds. He J.:,resented the affidavit of publication and Notice to Bidders, whereupon. it was moved by
Commissioner L.owe. seconded by Mayor Healy that the bids be opened and read and the motion was carried.
The following bids were opened and read: The sealed bid of Grande & Company. $100.07 at 5~ interest;
and an oral bid of the Conunercial National Bank at par value and 6% interest.

The matter of determining the highest and best bid was taken under advisement, pending the
answering of certain questions by Grande & Company relative to furnishing transcri!,ts and accepting
the bonds at monthly intervals if, as and when issued.

It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Mayor Healy that the reports be accepted and
ordered filed and the motion was carried.
Claims for the Month
Claims Nos. 11673 to 11856 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows:

The Manager stated that he has audited these claims and finds them to be true and lawful claims against
the City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their payment. After examination of the
clainls in detail by the City Commissioners, it was moved by Corrunissioner Lowe, seconded by :Mayor Healy
that the claims be approved and warrants drawn for their payment and the motion was carried.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion by Commissioner Lowe,
seconded by Mayor Healy, the meeting adjourned.
