Osman - Black Olive IIFrom:Mary Lou Osman To:Agenda Subject:Black Olive Date:Thursday, August 03, 2017 10:13:17 AM To the Commissioners: Having attended numerous meetings, I am very thankful for the time and effort you each put into caring for our town. As the Save Bozeman ad explains, theNCOD guidelines changed with no notice to the citizens who should have had a say in the size of neighboring buildings. Please take a stand to keep the new buildings a reasonable size (3stories). Infill, not overfill. Next it will be the Emerson Lawn and where will it stop? It's a nice story to say these will prevent sprawl when you talk about wanting more open space bondmoney because of the sprawling growth. Will the people who live in town vote for that after you allow the neighborhoods to grow to such an extent? That's not what I'm hearing. Thatgrowth is coming so why sacrifice downtown for the myth of saving the valley? Why impact every classic neighborhood with cars and commotion? People can live in Seattle or Portland ifthey want that. Let's hang on to our unique western town and continue to keep it livable. Please work to revise the NCOD with community input and vote no on Black/Olive. Thankyou, Mary Lou Osman
