Those being presen t were Me yor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Quinnell and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to...wi t: The minutes of the last re~llar session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by CommisSioner Lowe the t the minutes be approved as read, and the mo'" I tion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; tbose voting Aye being Mayor HBly, Commissioner ~orenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. Claims for the ~hn th Claims Nos. ll088 to 11267 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows: General $ l3412.17 Parking Meter 1265.02 Water 2522.74 Wi thhold ing Tax 792.70 Library 471.7l Park 1782.59 Ceme tery 1229.l7 Garbage l290.35 Band 518.95 Cemetery Suspense 16.25 Police Reserve 86.15 To ta 1 $ 23,39l.80 The Manager stated that he has audited thses claims and finds them to be true and law'" ful claims against The City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their pa ymen t . After exam1nation of the claims in detail by The City Commission, it was moved by Commis si on'~r Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the claims be approved and warrants drawn for their payment and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No I vo te ; those voting H.ye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. Application for City License The applicat10n for Eddy's Bakery for a City License was presented and read. I twas moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commission Lowe that the application be approved and the license issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye belng Mayor Healy, Commip-stoner I;,)orenson and Commissioner Lowe; those vo ting No, none. Reports The following reports for the month of September, 1946, were presented and read: Water Collector Police Judge Health Officer Librarian It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, secorded by Commiss,~ oner ~orenson thHt the reports be accepted and orderedfiled and the motion was carr1ed by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and CommiSSioner Lowe; tho s e voting No, none. Bond of A. W. Colp~an, Inpp8c tor I The bond of Archie W. Coleman as Plumbing a nd Gas Inspector in the amountof $1000.00 - was presented. The Manager s ta ted th8 t the bond was of the same form as former bonds, wl1ereupon, it was moved by Commis s1 oner Sorenson, seconded by Commissi oner Lowe tha t the bond be apporved and accepted and the motion was carried by the following '~ye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commis~ion8r uorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. No. 343 -- Resolution No. 588 creating SI~ 343 The Manager s ta ted tha t this was the time and place set for the hearing of protests to the creation of Special Improvement District No. 343, sanitary sewer in the Normandy Rearrangement of the West Side Addition. He presented af'f1davit of publication of the Notice and the Clerk's mailing certificate that all property owners had been notified. ..1 1here was no one present to protest and no protests having been filed, Resolution No. 588 ereat1ng Special Improvement District No. 343 was presented and read, entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, CREA TING SP'SCIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 343, PURSUANT TO TF..E PROVISIOKS OF COM- MISSION RESOLUTION NO. 584 DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO DO SO. It was moved by CommisSioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the Resolu- tion be passed and adopted and October 30th, 1946 be set as the date for opening bids and the motion was .carriedby the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayar Healy, Commissioner ;;)oren8on and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. Public Hearing SID No. 344 -- Resolution No. 589 Creating SID 344. The Manager s ta ted t ha t this was the time and place set for the public hearing of protests to the creation of Special Improvement District No. 344, water mains in the Nor- mandy Rearrangement of the West Side Addition. He presented affidavit of publication of the Notice and the Clerk's Mailing certificate that all property owners had been notified. There was no one present to protest And no protests having been filed, Resolution No. 589, crea ting S. 1. D. No. 344 was presented and read, entitled: f} RESOLUTION OF' THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, CR~~A TING SPECIAL IMPROVENrENT DISTRICT NO. 344, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF I COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 587 DECLARING 11'S IN1'ENTION TO DO SO. It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe tha t the Resolu" tion be passed and adopted and October 30th, 1946 be set as the date for the opening bids and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those vo ting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; tho Be vo ting No, none.
