- Water Line Payback Agreement
Attached are the following support documents associated with the
water line payback agreement for the Bozeman Industrial Park :
1 . Partial copies of the Industrial Park Plat and the
Amended plats for tracts 3 and 5 .
2 . Final Construction and Engineering costs bills .
3 . The payback agreement cost pr:-ration per lot based on the
final project cost .
4 . r statement from Everett Egbert regarding the payback
agreement .
Please note that Tract 4 (Edsall Property) should not be included
in the payback area as the water line does not extend to Tract 4 .
In clarification of item #4 , Mr . Egbert was required by the City to
install the subject water line to provide adequate fire protection
prior to approval of a project on lot No . 5B . All but one lot in
the subdivision have been developed at this time . Most utilize
wells for water supply as the City has no requirement for
connection to City water . Mr. Egbert is requesting that the
payback agreement become effective at the time any future building
permits are issued within the subdivision.
I must agree that a payback agreement which becomes effective only
upon connection of properties for service does not recognize or
account for the fire protection aspect of the municipal water
system.
Paul Luwe has previously worked on the draft payback agreement ;
however , I 'm not sure of its current status .

City Of Bozeman Engineering Office
Bozeman Industrial Park has installed a water main North of
Griffin Drive on Industrial Drive Approximately 8001 . Those
participating are Bozeman Industrial Park with lot #2,
Williams Plumbing with lot 3a and 3b, Egbert Construction
with lot 5a, Reach Inc. with lot 5b. We request that future
building permits be given the same restrictions as Egbert
Construction and Williams Plumbing in requiring that the fire
protection line be paid for. At this time it has been paid
for by Williams Plumbing, Reach Incorporated and Egbert
Construction. Bozeman Industrial Park has made the additional
payments for Century Warehousing, Thompsons Rental Shop and
Sury Ur Self Furniture.
