The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in an adjourned regular session, in the
Commission Room, City Hall Building, Tuesday afternoon, at 1 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, City manager ~uinnell,
City Attorney Aitken, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had t6-wit:
I Proposals for Parking Meters
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Healy who stated that the City Commission
would now give further consideration to the proposals for parking nwters which had been
read to the Commission last Friday evening, March 29th, 1946. Telegrams containing ad-
ditional information were read to the Commission, and tabulations of the bids submitted
were discussed. After careful consideration of the relative merits of the parking meters
proposed, it was thought that the automatic meter would appeal to the citizens of Bozeman
more than a hand-operated machine, and it was therefore, moved by Commissioner Lowe,
seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that The City of Bozeman contract with the Sawtooth
Company of Boise, Idaho for approximately 400 Dual Automatic parking meters at an installed
price of $68.00 each, prOVided that the proposed installation be completed and the meters
made ready for operation by June 1st, 1946, and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy. Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner
Lowe; those voting No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
I moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those vo ting No, none.
