The Commi ssion of The Ci ty of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, February 22nd, 1946 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Quin-
nell, And the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
I Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read, and the mo-
tion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,

Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those votlng No, none.
Applications for City Licenses
The following applica tions for City Licenses were presen tad and read:
Macts Saddlery Saveway Drug store Gallatin Moline Implement Co
Bridges Donu~ Shop Charles Giarratana Larry's Welding & Repair Shop
Hines Motor Yupply Bozeman Feed & Grain Co.
It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the applica-
tions be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye
and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner
Lowe; those voting No, none.
Resolution No. 571 -- Quit Claim to Krueger
The Manager stated that the City Attorney, as instructed, had prepared the Resolution
quitclaiming a strip of ground approximately 14x240t, south of the lots owned by Wm. Carl
Krueger in Block C, of the Original Townsite. He presented and read Resolution No. 571,

AND EMPOWERING THE MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY COMMISSION TO QUITCLAIM
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BOZ~MAN TO WILLIAM CARL KRUEGER THE STRIP OF LAND
HEREINAFTER IN THIS RESOLUTION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED.
It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the resolu -
tion be passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those
voting No, none.
Resignation -- E. Anderson - Recreation Board
The ~6signation of Mrs. Eleanor Anderson as a member of the City Recreation Board, was
presented and read. It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson
that the resignation be accepted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting
No, non e.
Appo in tmen t -- Mrs. W. o. Whitcomb - Recrpation Board
Mayor Healy announced the appoint of Mrs. W. O. Whitcomb as a member of the Recreation
Board to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. Eleanor Anderson, ending January 1, 1948.

Surplus Property Depot
The City Manager reported on a meeting he attended in Helena reparding establishing
a surplus property depot in Montana.

There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
