January 4th, 1946
The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, Janua ry 4th, 1946, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Quinnell,
Ci ty Attorney Ai tken, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Clerk, when the following
proceedings were had to-wit: I
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read, and the mo- '.
tion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
Claims for the Mbnth
Claims Nos. 9490 to 9642 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows:

and claims Nos. 389 to 401 insluvise i~ the amount of $807.89 for the operation of the
Nursery School were also presented. The Manager s ta ted tha t he has audited these claims
and finds them to be true and lawful claims agains t The City of Bozenan and recommends I
that warrants be drawn for their payment. After examination of the claims in de tail by
the City Commission, it was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson
that the claims be allowed and warrants be drawn for their payment and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissi onar
Lowe and Commissioner Sorenson; those va ting No, none.

The following applications for City Licenses were presented and read:

It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the
applications be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the fol-
lowing Aye a nd No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and
Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.

The following reports for the month of December, 1945 were presented and read:

Insurance -- Nur sery School
An insurance policy covering public liability for the Nursery School and Beall Park
Playground was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner
Lowe that the policy be approved and accepted and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commis s ioner Soren son and Commis s1 oner

Parking Meters
Mr. O'Brien of the Duncan Meter Company of Chicago, Illinois was present and discussed
parking meters with the City Commission. He stated that "Miller" meters manufactured by
his company had recently been installed in Billings and Helena, and sugges ted tha t the
same meter be used in The City of Bozeman.
Adjournment
I There being no further business to come before the Commission at t'his time, it was
moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the meeting adjourn
and the motion was carri ed by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Heal y, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
