The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, November 23rd, 1945, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Quinnell,
City Attorney Aitken, City Engineer Thorpe and the Clerk, when the following proceedings
were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner
Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
Report
The report of the Building Inspector for the montmof September and October, 1945 was
presented and read. It was moved by Commissioner- Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe
that the report be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner
Lowe; those voting No, none.
Ordinance No. 737 -- Vacating Alley in Block 86; N.P. Addition
The Manager stated that this was the time and place set for hearing protests to the
vacating of the alley in Block 86, and Pear Street from LStrest to K Street and K Street
from Pear street to Cedar Street, all in the Northern Pacific Addition to Bozeman. The
affidavit of publication of the Notice of Intention to vacate said alley and streets and
the acknowledgment of service of said Notice on all property owners effected were presented
and read.
As no protests had been filed and no one was present to protest the vacation of
the above described alley and streets, Ordinance No. 737 vacating the alley in Block 86, and

Pear Street from L Street to K Street and K Street from Pear Street to Cedar Street was
presented and read, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 86, ALSO PEAR STREET FROM L STREET
TO K STREET AND K STREET FROM PEAR STREET TO CEDAR STREET, NORTHERN PACIFIC
ADDITION TO BOZEMAN, MONTANA
It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the ordinance
be passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those
voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting
No, none.
Purchase of Truck
The Manager reported that a one and one-half ton model 1942 Chevrolet truck had been
purchased from the Surplus Property Board for $867.73, and that a claim would be presented at
a la ter meeting.
Willis Springer, Street Superintendent was present and demonstrated the
new truck for the Commissioners.

There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meetlng adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vo te; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,
