Those being present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; City Manager ~uinnell, . City Attorney Aitken, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Clerk, when the 'following proceedings were had to-wit: I The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy~ Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, ndne. Park Side Addition Plat Approved Mr. Hal Bolinger was present and presented a proposed plat of his property at the corne'r of Sou th Church Avenue and Story Street. Ci ty Manager Quinnell s ta ted tha t the plat conformed with the City Ordinances and the law. After examination of the plat by the Commission, it was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the pInt of the Park Side Addition be approved subject to the approval of the abstract by the City Attorney, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those vcting No, none. Reports The following reports for the month of November, 1945 were presented and read: Librarian Police Judge Water Collector Sanitary Inspector I It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the re- ports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. City Attorney Aitken reported that at a meeting with a committee from the Masonic Lodge, they were agreeable to transferring the lots of the Old Masonic Tract in the Cerretery to The Ci ty of Bozeman to be held in trust for masonic burials. It was stated that an agreement would be drawn, presented to the Cemetery Board for approval, and later presented to the City Commission for final adoption. Applications for Tax abatements The City Manager reported that Mr. E. 1. Gillespie, owner of the West 68 feet of Lots 21 to 24 in Block 2; Babcock & Davis Addition, located at 519 East Lamme had stated he was assessed for garbage collection at this property and the house has been vacant all year, and would not be occupied this year. It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, secon- ded by Commis sioner Sorenson the t the tax be aba ted upon the proper applies tion form being signed and presented and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye veing Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. Exal'1'ination of Depository Bonds and Securities Custodian's receipts of the Depository Bonds held by the Director of Finance as security for the deposits of City funds in the various Bozeman banks were presented and examined by the City Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the list being found to com01y with custodian's receipts that it be approved and in- corpora tad in full ~ n the mInutes and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none. Financing Revenue Bonds Represents ti ves of the Allison-Williams & Compan y and of the Kolman & Company, finan- cing companies of Minneapolis, were present and explained the financing of sewer revenue bonds for the Commission. The gentlemen sta ted that their companies would be willing to -purchase City of Bozeman revenue bonds for the construction of a sewage disposal plant, wi th an interest rate of 2% for one-half of the issue and 2t% for the other one-half and furnish legal adivce for the bond issuance proceedure.
